A TWO DAYS TRAINING ORGANIZED BY GENDER POLICY UNIT, ABU ZARIA AND WOMEN CONNECT INITIATIVE ON ACQUIRING ADVOCACY SKILLS ON TVE.


The training to build the capacity of volunteers who will understudy and give support for the execution of the advocacy campaign ACTIVE 4 Rural women, organised by Gender Policy Unit, ABU and Women Connect Initiative, sponsored by Rise Up, held as scheduled and a total of 12 volunteers along with 3 partnering organizations were trained and armed with requisite knowledge and skills on Advocacy and on TVE.

The training drew facilitators from within the University (Department of Technical and Vocational Education, Gender Policy Unit, Entrepreneurship unit and sociology) from civil society groups and from Ministry of Education, Kaduna state.

At the end, the participants showed learning via the quality of responses from the pre-test and post- test exercise administered to them. Below are some publications on the program;
